Nexus Coach — Privacy Policy

DataNexus ("we", "us", or "our") operates Nexus Coach at datanexus.gg. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

In short: we do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. Nexus Coach is designed to work without requiring you to provide personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to authenticate your Discord account and deliver the Service.

We collect the minimum data required to provide the Service:

• Discord authentication data. When you log in via Discord OAuth2 we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar URL. We do not receive your email address, password, or any other Discord account details.
• Riot Games summoner name. You provide your Riot ID voluntarily so we can fetch publicly available match data from the Riot Games API on your behalf.
• Usage data. We may record aggregate, non-identifiable usage metrics (e.g. number of analyses run) for the sole purpose of improving the Service.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment card details, or any other personally identifiable information.

Subscription payments are handled entirely by our third-party payment processor, Tebex. DataNexus never sees, stores, or processes your payment card details. All payment data is subject to Tebex's own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance programme.

The data we collect is used only to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session.
• Retrieve publicly available match data from the Riot Games API.
• Verify your active subscription entitlement.
• Improve and maintain the Service.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:

• Tebex — our payment processor, solely for billing purposes.
• Riot Games API — your Riot ID is sent to Riot's servers to retrieve match data. This data is public and governed by Riot Games' developer policies.
• Legal requirements — if we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We retain session tokens only for the duration of your active session. We do not persistently store your Discord credentials or match data beyond what is cached transiently to serve your current request. If you delete your account or cancel your subscription, any associated data is removed promptly.

We do not use any analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other websites. We only store the following on your device:

• Login cookies (sessionId, sessionActive) — keep you signed in after you log in with Discord. They expire after 30 days or when you log out.
• Feedback cookie (nexusFeedbackVisitor) — set only when you rate or comment on an analysis, so your feedback can be linked to you without an account. It holds a random ID and expires after 90 days.
• Recent searches (browser local storage) — the last few Riot IDs and regions you searched successfully, so you can search them again quickly and so the search box is pre-filled on your next visit. These may include other players' Riot IDs if you searched for them. This list stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Entries expire after 90 days, and you can remove individual entries, clear the list, or turn the feature off using the links under the search box.
• Display preferences (browser local storage) — choices such as your preferred stats view or filters, so the site remembers how you like it laid out.

These are used only to provide features you use, so we do not ask for cookie consent. You can also clear them at any time through your browser settings.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we hold, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) for all connections. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

As we collect minimal data, there is little to act on — but you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@datanexus.gg.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
