How it works

Three steps to your first review

  1. 1

    Log in with Discord

Your 3 free reviews are waiting. No card, no install.

  2. 2

    Enter your Riot ID

We pull your recent games from Riot's match data.

  3. 3

    Get your review

What worked, what cost you, and one thing to focus on next game.

What you get

One review helps. The loop is what gets you climbing.

Each game gets reviewed, reviews add up into blocks, and blocks turn into a plan. Your next block then shows whether the plan worked.

01 · Reviews

Know exactly what happened in each game

Our AI reads the full match timeline: every fight, death, objective and item. You get back a short, honest breakdown of your game.

  • What you did well, so you keep doing it
  • The 2–4 mistakes that actually cost you, each with evidence and a fix
  • One thing to think about in your next game
Example

Coaching point 1 of 4

Stop taking isolated forward positions against multiple divers

Evidence
Died to Swain at 2:02, then to a Swain, Jax and Vayne collapse, and later to Mundo and Vayne. All followed the same pattern.
Why it happens
Caitlyn has no escape once Net is used, and Jax, Ekko and Vayne all have gap closers built to punish that.
Fix
Stand behind Darius and Leona. Save Net for the first Jax or Ekko engage, and don't walk past your frontline unless both are visible elsewhere.

02 · Blocks

See patterns, not one bad game

Every 10 reviewed games form a block. Anyone can have a bad game, but a block shows what keeps happening: the mistake behind most of your deaths, the champions you perform best on, and how your grades are trending.

  • Win rate and average grade for each block
  • A summary of what defined those 10 games
  • Blocks line up into a timeline of your progress
Example
Block 310 games · 6W 4L · avg grade B-
CaitlynJhinCaitlynEzrealKaisaCaitlynJinxEzrealCaitlynJhin

Block summary

In 7 of 10 games, your most costly deaths came from stepping past your frontline before the enemy's engage was used. Best champion: Caitlyn (3W 1L).

Plan ready

03 · Improvement plan

A plan built from your own mistakes

After each block, your improvement tracker updates and builds a plan for the next 10 games. It gives you a clear rule to play by and a way to tell whether it's working.

  • Tracks which mistakes are resolved, which persist, and which are new
  • A primary focus with a concrete in-game rule
  • Success signals you can check in your next block
Example

Your plan for the next block

1Positioning against divers in mid-game fights
In-game rule
Don't step past your frontline until the enemy's engage has been used.
You'll know it's working when
You die fewer than 4 times after 15 minutes.

Inside every review

And a ton of extra detail when you want to dig in

The coaching is the headline, but every review also comes with the full picture of the match.

  • Team and player graphs

Gold, minions, wards, XP, momentum and completed items, minute by minute, for both teams and every player.

  • Every kill broken down

See which abilities were used in each kill and how much damage each one did.

  • Compared with your rank

Your stats measured against players at the tiers that matter for your game.

  • All 10 players graded

A grade and short verdict for every player, so you can see who really carried and who threw.

  • Key plays timeline

The fights, objectives and shutdowns that decided the game, in order.

  • How the game was won

A summary of the turning points, and what could have changed the result.

Why small improvements matter

Going from 51% to 60% win rate means about 90 games to climb a league, not 460

A few percentage points of win rate make climbing much faster, and luck matters far less.

Win rateTypical games to climb one leagueLucky run to unlucky run
51%460 gamesLucky to unlucky run: 214–1,088 games
60%90 gamesLucky to unlucky run: 66–124 games
70%48 gamesLucky to unlucky run: 38–58 games

Simulated climb of one league (400 LP across four divisions) at ±20 LP per win or loss. “Typical” is the median run; the lucky and unlucky figures cover the middle 50% of runs. MMR adjustments and demotion protection are not modelled.

Nexus Coach finds the mistakes costing you those percentage points.

FAQ

Questions

How is this different from other stats sites?

Other stats sites give you win rates, champion stats and information about your recent games (which we also do). Nexus Coach uses advanced AI to give you a detailed review of your game, including what went wrong and what to do instead. As far as we know, no other site does this. Our goal is to patch up your mistakes and get you climbing as fast as possible.

Who is this for?

This is for anyone who wants to improve their League of Legends game. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, we can help.

Should I get a human coach instead?

We will not replace human coaching, but we can complement it very well. Human coaches are very skilled at watching specific moments in a game and giving feedback accordingly. Unlike human coaches, we can cover your behaviour over many games and help you identify recurring patterns. We are also more affordable, aiming to help those who don't have the budget for a human coach. For best results, combine our thorough analysis with the precision of a human coach.

I am a coach. Can I use this to help my clients?

Yes. Nexus Coach can highlight your clients' recurring mistakes, and which games and moments are worth reviewing yourself.

Is anything installed on my computer?

No. Nexus Coach runs entirely as a website. We are developing a desktop app that will run alongside your game and provide even more value; more information soon. However, we will never require you to install anything.

Can this get my account banned?

No. You are doing nothing wrong. Nexus Coach only reads match data that Riot publishes through its API after the game is over. In fact, nothing in your Nexus Coach account links to your Riot account. You are free to review any game, although reviewing your own games is far more valuable to you.

Some advice was wrong

Every performance coaching point has thumbs-up/thumbs-down buttons and a feedback box. If you think something was wrong, please tell us there. You can also email us at support@datanexus.gg. Please don't ignore it; we would love to know when something is wrong so we can improve.

Why do I log in with Discord?

We use Discord for accounts because it means we don't have to handle sign-ups, emails, passwords, two-factor authentication or account deletion ourselves. That leaves us free to focus on what we are good at: giving you the best coaching advice and pushing your win rate up.

When you log in, you're taken to Discord's own website, and Discord shows you exactly what DataNexus will be able to see: your public profile (user ID, username, avatar and banner). This is a standard protocol called OAuth. We never get access to your Discord account, email, servers or messages.

What data do you store about me?

Only what we need to run your account. From Discord we keep your user ID, username and avatar. We store the Riot IDs you look up and the public match data for those games. If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Tebex, so we never see your card details; Tebex sends us your name, email and country for billing records. We never get access to your Discord account, email or messages.

We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@datanexus.gg. See our privacy policy for the full details.

Which games can be reviewed?

Any of your recent games longer than 10 minutes. Enter your Riot ID and region, and we'll pull them in for you to pick from.

Is Nexus Coach made by Riot?

No. Nexus Coach is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscription management is handled by Tebex. Tebex is a company specialising in game monetisation and payments, used by many popular games such as Rust and Minecraft. You can manage your subscription at any time by logging in to your Tebex account. Again, we let Tebex handle subscriptions and payments so we can focus on what we are good at: giving you the best coaching advice and pushing your win rate up.

Who is the best champion?

The best champion is Bel'Veth. She is the best champion because she is the best champion.
